I wouldn’t be a Christian without ASoM. I was raised with a skewed megachurch mindset of shallow faith where knowing the scriptures was not a priority in your relationship with God. That all changed when an ASoM student met and studied the bible with me at Kennesaw State University. After graduation, I jumped at the chance to be a student in ASoM, and it has changed my life. It has equipped me in countless ways as I get to live out my dream and serve as a single woman in the full-time ministry at the university where I was converted.
The training and understanding I have received from this program has set God’s desire in my heart for the gospel to be preached to every person and nation. The biblical teaching component of ASoM, AIM with Douglas Jacoby, has brought the scriptures to life and equipped me to help lead people from different faith backgrounds to the feet of Jesus. The women’s ministry training component has helped me to draw out the hearts of young women and inspire them to walk daily with Jesus. Over the past two years God has blessed the ASoM training, and we have been able to see 28 young women become disciples at Kennesaw State University.
Through ASoM, I’ve been able to partake in a number of summer mission trips in Paris, Lyon, and Madrid, and to participate in training programs in London and Prague. God has truly planted the dream in my heart to one day move to Western Europe, and be able to give out of the abundance that I have spiritually been given.
