SOUTH PACIFIC

SCHOOL OF MISSIONS

The SPSM has been a sponsored program by the BMF from the School’s inception in 2012.  We had our first session in Sydney in Nov. 2012 with an attendance of around 20 students. We started with 161 members in the Sydney Church and 750 in the region at the beginning of 2013.  We had our first Mission School Session that December(month before, 2012) with approximately 20 students. Since that time, God has graciously been building up our region and Mission School.

The staff in our region has grown from the low point of 6 full time ministry staff to 40.  They have been filled by 31 students our Mission School.  The membership has grown from the low point of 600 to 1350.  Our Mission School now has approximately 65 students enrolled.

Meet Brandon and Megan

One exciting thing that will happen this year in August, is that two of the graduates, Brandon and Megan Vassallo will be moving to Adelaide to lead a church planting with 38 disciples.  Adelaide is the last major city over a million yet to be planted. We also have 8 disciples now in New Caledonia which will be our next Island nation planting by the end of this year.

They continue to need new leaders for their expanding ministries.  They are faithful that this next generation will take the Gospel to the ends of the Earth in the South Pacific and also plant new churches in the next level cities of 1/2 million -Newcastle, Canberra, and Hobart.
